The study visit at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) in Romania was held on November 13-15, 2017, in the framework of the “Strategic support on strengthening the quality assurance structures at the private higher education institutions in Albania” (QAinAL) project under the Erasmus+ program.
Representatives of the partner private higher education institutions from Albania as well as representatives from the Albanian Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth and the Albanian Agency on Quality Assurance in Higher Education participated in the study visit. The study visit focused on quality assurance mechanisms and procedures at the Master’s and PhD level at UPB and at partner universities.
Dr. Reina Shehi, Dr. Ali Osman Topal, Ms. Eglantina Farruku and Dr. Niuton Mulleti participated on behalf of EPOKA University at the said study visit. Dr. Zenelaj delivered a detailed presentation on quality assurance at the Master’s study programs whereas Dr. Mulleti presented quality assurance procedures and mechanisms at the PhD study programs offered by EPOKA University.
All presentations by partner universities were followed by discussions and exchange of opinions among participants with a view to adopting best practices concerning quality assurance at the Department and study program level for all cycles of studie
