Research and Projects Office
Research and Projects Office (RPO) is the designated pre-award and post-award administration office for EPOKA University, providing top-quality support to the campus community's research, creative activity, and outreach initiatives.
RPO identifies research opportunities and partnerships, facilitates the submission of all sponsored projects proposals on behalf of the University, negotiates and executes agreements, provides sponsored projects education and communication, and assists faculty, staff, and students in managing projects which are awarded to the University.
"Research comprises creative work undertaken on a systematic basis in order to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge of man, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to devise new applications. Epoka University has already begun to generate within the large family, social movements and trends of various nature that aim to bring new perspectives on society.
In this context Epoka University established a Research and Projects Office in 2013. The office was established to coordinate and facilitate cooperation with other partners at a national and international level. The Office advises on and supports applications for various domestic and international grants and aims the University to be an example, how expert groups bring alternative ideas to develop policies; how policy is made not only by politicians, but needs professional expertise. In the Albanian context where research with practical value has long been discontinued and does not respond to international standards, for Epoka and generation of young and talented researchers, research and innovation is a way to help development. This is why EPOKA intends to go beyond an academic institution, where in addition to the two faculties, already has consolidated within three Research and Development Centers.
Beyond that, we believe strongly in the ability to develop the innovation in our fields of interest and impact to society. All these have made EPOKA to be a reference within the country and enjoy the academic reputation of educational associations of higher education in Europe.
