Final Event on the Sustainability and Reporting of the “Virtual Albanian European Universities Exchange” project took place on January 11-13, 2023, at “Aleksandër Xhuvani” University in Elbasan, Albania. It gathered representatives from all Albanian partners to discuss on the preparation of the Final Report to be delivered to the Agency and on the continuation of use of the created platforms/practices in the framework of the VALEU-X project.

Prof. Dr. Eric Schoop from Technical University of Dresden provided a brief summary of the project since its beginning in 2020. He strongly highlighted the need to further exploit the output of the VALEU-X project and to continue disseminating its results in national and broader levels. Afterwards, a synergy strategy session took place where two other EU projects (SMART project and COWEB project) that display thematic cross topics with VALEU-X project were introduced.

During the second day, all partners discussed about new project applications that are on the way – presenting proposals which are in the field of VCL and use of technology that can ensure synergy with the VALEU-X project.

On the last day, the main topic was regarding the Declaration as a follow up of the signing of the memorandum of understanding. All participants closely collaborated on writing the content of the declaration. The meeting was closed with a summary and wrap-up of conclusions from the several discussions that took place through the three days.  

14 January 2020 – 14 January 2023 has been a beautiful, enlightening and educative journey! We hope to have further collaborations with the partner institutions!
