Since the establishment of the Research and Projects Office (RPO) in 2013, Epoka has become a central node for national and international cooperation. By streamlining grant applications and fostering strategic partnerships, the RPO bridges the gap between theoretical research and practical application. We champion the philosophy that effective policy-making requires a synthesis of professional expertise and political vision, positioning our expert groups as vital contributors to the national discourse.

In a landscape where practical research has historically faced challenges, Epoka University is setting a new standard by bridging the gap toward international excellence and empowering a new generation of researchers to drive Albania’s development. Our research ecosystem is built upon a solid foundation that features two specialized faculties, which seamlessly integrate academic teaching with high-level inquiry, and three Research and Development Centers that serve as dedicated hubs for innovation and cross-disciplinary projects. Through these efforts, we are consistently striving for greater European recognition, ensuring our work achieves meaningful visibility and impact within the European Higher Education and Research Areas.
